Pool Design in Paddington

A newly renovated home required a simple pool design, but with a catch! To reduce building costs,  the design needed to maintain all of the fill from the home renovation.

Soft contouring and retaining walls were used to create transitions to a flat recreational area on the same level as the pool.  Soft planting on the slope minimises the turf area and screening plants such as Cupaniopsus anacardioides ‘Tuckeroo’ and Tabebuia impetinginosa ‘Pink tabebuia’ were used as feature trees.

This design reflects the relaxed ‘deck’ culture of Paddington by creating a open, cool area for the family to enjoy and entertain in.
